WHITEHOUSE ISD ￨ Ag Permanent Substitute ￨ March 4, 2024- Present 

Performed duties of the Ag teacher on maternity leave. Classes include Vet 1, Vet 2, Small animal and Equine. Responsibilities include preparing lessons/labs following Mrs. Tribbey’s scope for each class, teaching the classes/labs, recording grades, and assisting with the CDE Vet Science and Livestock Judging teams. I also assist with the show barn, maintaining student’s barn points, clipping their show animals, giving guidance on feed regiments, and giving injections when/ as needed.
 

CAYUGA ISD ￨ Clinical Teaching ￨ Dec 2023-March 2024

Shadowed and student taught under Mrs. Karrie Cox, Ag teacher. I was able to assist in her middle school classes, Principles of Ag, Equine, and Animal Science courses. I am certified to teach Hunter’s Education, so I assisted with that. I 

attended the Fort Worth Stock Show and the Houston Livestock Show Calf Scramble with Mrs. Cox.

Performed duties of the lead Ag teacher on maternity leave. Classes taught include Principles of Ag, Animal Science, Livestock Production, and Wildlife.  Responsibilities included preparing lessons/labs following Mrs. Jones’ scope for each class, teaching the classes/labs, teaching Hunter’s Education, recording grades, and assisting with the LDE public speaking teams. I also assisted with the show barn, maintaining student’s barn points, giving guidance on feed regiments, and giving injections when/ as needed. I oversaw the pig projects in the barn in her absence, and assisted the county representative in paperwork and tagging of state tags. I also received training on Learning disabilities and 504 students to help better accommodate in the classroom for those students.

 

ANGELS OF CARE PEDI HOME HEALTHCARE ￨ LVN ￨ Nov 2021-Present 

Performed the duties of an LVN, specializing in gButton and Trach care, to 24 hour care pediatric patients. Responsibilities include vital assessment, medication administration, ventilator use, feed pump use, replacement of trachs and gButtons, CPT, documentation, ordering of patient supplies, and attending doctor’s appointments with patients. 

 

ANDERSON COUNTY 4H ￨ Program Instructor and 4H Leader ￨ July 2015 - Present

Responsibilities include preparing/teaching the Vet Science and Wildlife programs. Placing at Houston, 4H Roundup, and local contests with the Vet Science team. Have had individual awards at 4H Roundup and Dallas State Fair with the Wildlife contestants. 

Have been elected as a 4H leader for Blackfoot 4H for the last 4 years (approximately 50 members), and leader for Old Cayuga 4H previously for 4 years (approximately 70 members). Have coordinated and organized all meetings, fundraisers, and community service events. Assisted Extension Agent in the County Meet and Greet event and End of the Year Banquet, county wide community service projects and attended meetings on all levels.   

 

DICKSON SHOWPIGS ￨ Owner/Breeder ￨ July 2009- Present

Have been successfully producing quality Showpigs since 2009. I have assisted customers after their purchases with showmanship, feeding, clipping and at jackpots. 

I also host a Pig Sale at the ACYLA fairgrounds each November to help students in our county be able to find affordable projects from reputable breeders.
